About Courage

"To dare is to lose one's footing momentarily. Not to dare is to lose oneself." -Kierkegaard

Most men and women know only how to live through the opinions of others. An external judgment drives our own existence, identity, and life's purpose. By trying to become someone we are not, we become merely a numerical repetition, but not an individual.

It is mostly after a tragedy-like losing one's beloved-that we become conscious that there is a true self inside of us. It is during those inward and painful reflections that we look back and make sense of our lives. As is commonly said, " the piece has to be played through backwards or the spell is not broken."

After those reflections, a man or a woman must decide if they have the courage to become themselves or live their entire life in disguise as an impostor.

Renouncing the trivialities of the temporal is a monumental task only attained by the bravest.
